Unbiased is a digital educational platform developed and maintained by ANIX, obrt za računarske djelatnosti, Pula, Croatia (“ANIX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Unbiased mobile applications for iOS and Android, the website located at unbiasedapp.com, and any related services, content, features, or digital products (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. You may contact us at support@unbiasedapp.com.

The Service is intended for individuals aged 16 years or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The Service is not directed to children.

Unbiased provides educational content relating but not limited to cognitive biases, logical fallacies, cognitive distortions, critical thinking exercises, and personalized learning features. All content is provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

By using the Service, you accept all risks associated with its use and agree to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

Access to certain features requires account registration via email authentication and login code verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You agree not to impersonate another person, access accounts without authorization, or interfere with the operation of the Service.

You may delete your account at any time within the application or by referring to our account deletion page. Upon deletion, access to the Service will terminate immediately.

The Service may offer a 7-day free trial. Continued access after the trial period requires a paid subscription or lifetime purchase. Subscription options may include monthly or yearly plans. Lifetime access is valid for as long as the Service is offered.

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. ANIX does not process payments directly. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the respective platform’s policies. Deleting the application does not cancel an active subscription.

By completing a purchase and receiving immediate access to digital content, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal is lost once access begins, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law.

We reserve the right to change pricing, subscription structures, or purchase options at any time. Pricing changes apply prospectively and, where applicable, at the next subscription renewal cycle.

We may issue promotional codes offering partial or full discounts. Promotional codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, may expire, and may be revoked in the event of misuse or abuse. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional programs at any time.

All content, materials, text, graphics, illustrations, branding elements, and structural components of the Service are the intellectual property of ANIX or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Public display, publication, transmission, modification, reproduction, distribution, scraping, reverse engineering, use for artificial intelligence training, or any commercial use of the content is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from ANIX.

Unauthorized or unlawful use of digital content may result in legal action and financial claims proportionate to the damage caused.

The Service is provided strictly for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute medical advice, psychological therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or professional consultation of any kind. No guarantees are made regarding learning outcomes, behavioral change, decision-making improvement, or mental health benefits. You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ANIX does not warrant that the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service will meet your expectations.

ANIX shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including but not limited to indirect damages, consequential damages, loss of profits, emotional distress, loss of data, or business interruption.

Total liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to ANIX for the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to any account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including breach of these Terms or unlawful use of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Suspension or termination does not automatically cancel any subscription managed through Apple or Google. You remain responsible for subscription management through the respective platform.

The Service may rely on or integrate with third-party platforms and providers. ANIX assumes no responsibility for third-party infrastructure, services, content, policies, or practices.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Zagreb, Croatia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services or applicable regulations. Updates become effective immediately upon publication. By continuing to access or use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
